This page contains two documents. Part One sets out the terms on which we provide tutoring services and materials. Part Two explains what personal information we collect and what we do with it. Together they form the agreement between us.
Questions about either: evanssatprep@gmail.com or (747) 944-9100.
PART ONE — TERMS OF SERVICE
These terms govern your purchase and use of tutoring services and materials from Evan’s Strategic SAT Prep, operated by Evan Vorspan (“we,” “us,” “our”), at evanssatprep.com. By booking a session, buying a course, or using our materials, you agree to these terms.
1. Who may purchase
If the student is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must make the purchase and agree to these terms on the student’s behalf. By checking out, you confirm you are the student’s parent or guardian, or that you are 18 or older and purchasing for yourself.
We ask for a parent or guardian email at checkout and may use it for anything relating to scheduling, payment, or the student’s participation.
2. What we provide
We provide SAT preparation instruction covering the Math section and the Standard English Conventions and Expression of Ideas portions of Reading and Writing. We do not teach reading comprehension.
Services include:
- The complete 8-course bundle — eight 60-minute group sessions
- Single classes — any one of the eight sessions, booked individually
- One-on-one sessions — individual instruction, billed hourly
- Bluebook practice test review — individual or small group, billed hourly
Group sessions are capped at five students. If demand is high, we will add sessions rather than increase class size. A group session will run as scheduled even if only one student is enrolled.
3. No guarantee of results
We do not guarantee any score increase. No tutor, course, or program can. What we provide is instruction, materials, strategies, and feedback from someone who scored above the 99th percentile in the sections we teach. Your results depend on the work you put in, your starting point, and factors outside our control.
Any score figures we reference are our own past results and are not a prediction of yours.
4. Pricing and payment
Prices are listed on the site in US dollars and may change at any time. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout.
- The 8-course bundle must be paid in full at purchase.
- Single classes are paid at booking.
- One-on-one sessions are billed hourly and paid before the session unless we agree otherwise.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Purchases are non-transferable. Sessions, courses, and materials are for the named student only and may not be given, sold, or transferred to another person.
5. Scheduling
Starting. You may begin whenever you like after purchase. There is no deadline to start.
Bundle expiry. Once you begin, all eight sessions must be completed within 60 days of your first session. Sessions not completed within that window are forfeited and are not refundable. The 60 days run from your first session, not from your purchase date, so the clock does not start until you are ready.
Group sessions. When you buy the bundle, you choose your time for each session from the slots available. Slots are assigned first come, first served.
One-on-one sessions. Send a two-to-three day date range and the times you are free. We will reply with what works and you confirm a slot. A session is not booked until confirmed.
Availability varies. As a general matter we are available on weekday evenings after 6:45 PM remotely, and on weekends. In-person sessions are available to Milken Community School students immediately after school between 3:15 and 5:15 PM.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferences but cannot guarantee any specific time.
6. Rescheduling
You may move a booked session, subject to these limits:
- Each session may be rescheduled once.
- The new date must fall within 14 days of the date originally booked.
- Requests to move a session more than 14 days out are granted only at our discretion, and only for a legitimate need.
- Rescheduling does not extend the 60-day bundle window in section 5.
Rescheduling within these limits carries no fee.
7. Cancellations and refunds
A 20% cancellation fee applies to cancelled sessions and cancelled course packages. If you cancel, you receive a refund of the amount paid less that fee.
Sessions you never schedule are not refundable. If you buy the eight-session bundle and only schedule five, the remaining three are forfeited. It is your responsibility to book them within the window in section 5.
Full-course students do not pay cancellation fees on one-on-one sessions.
Late cancellations. Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you cannot attend.
No-shows. A session missed without notice may be rescheduled at our sole discretion. We are not obliged to reschedule or refund it.
If we cancel. If we cancel or reschedule a session for any reason, you may take the session at another time or receive a full refund for that session, with no fee.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically take 5–10 business days to appear.
8. Attendance and punctuality
Sessions begin at the scheduled time. A session runs for the full hour at minimum and occasionally a few minutes longer.
If you arrive late, the session still ends at its scheduled end time. Time missed through late arrival is not made up, refunded, or added to the end of the session.
9. Course materials
When you purchase a class or course, we grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the materials for your own SAT preparation. This includes lesson notes, worked examples, answer keys, the math and writing cheat sheet, and the SAT strategies document.
Materials for each session are released shortly before that session begins. You do not receive all eight sessions’ materials at the time of purchase. Materials for a session you do not attend are not provided.
You may not:
- Share, post, email, or upload our materials to anyone who has not purchased them
- Sell, resell, or trade our materials
- Upload our materials to file-sharing sites, homework help sites, or study-note marketplaces
- Reproduce our materials in another product or service
Some practice materials contain questions and explanations reproduced from the College Board SAT Question Bank. Those remain the property of the College Board and are provided to you for your own instructional use only, with attribution. The same restrictions above apply to them, and the College Board’s own terms apply independently.
We may revoke access to materials if these restrictions are broken.
10. Communication
Students and parents may contact us by text with questions between sessions. This is a courtesy, not a guaranteed response time, and it is intended for short questions about content covered in class. We reserve the right to suggest a paid one-on-one session where a question needs more than a brief answer.
11. Conduct
We expect students to arrive on time, participate, and treat other students respectfully. We may remove a student from a group session, without refund, for behavior that disrupts other students’ learning.
12. Recording
We do not record sessions by default. Students and parents may not record sessions without our advance written permission. If we ever wish to record, we will get agreement from everyone present first.
13. Technology
Remote sessions are held on Google Meet and require a working internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone. You are responsible for your own equipment and connection. Time lost to problems on your end is not refunded or extended.
14. Chargebacks
If you have a problem with a purchase, contact us first at evanssatprep@gmail.com and we will try to resolve it.
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute instead of contacting us, we may suspend or revoke your access to sessions and materials while the dispute is open. If a chargeback is resolved in our favor, we may recover any fees charged to us as a result, and we may decline to provide services to you in future.
15. Circumstances beyond our control
Neither party is responsible for failing to perform under these terms because of events outside its reasonable control, including illness, power or internet outages, natural disaster, fire, or emergency.
If we cannot hold a session for such a reason, we will reschedule it at no cost or refund that session in full, at your choice. That is the full extent of our obligation.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including any claim based on test scores, college admission outcomes, or scholarship results.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.
17. Trademarks and independence
SAT® and Bluebook™ are registered trademarks of the College Board. Desmos is a trademark of Desmos Studio PBC. Google Meet is a trademark of Google LLC. None of these companies are affiliated with, and none endorse, this program.
This program is independently operated and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Milken Community School or any school district.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in effect when you make a purchase governs that purchase. We will post updates here and change the date at the top.
19. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
20. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will stay in full force.
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us regarding our services. They replace any prior discussion, message, or understanding. No change to these terms is binding unless we agree to it in writing.

1. Who this policy is for
Our services are designed for high school students preparing for the SAT. Most of our students are under 18. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review this policy, make any purchase on your behalf, and provide their own contact information at checkout.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us at evanssatprep@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Payment information:
We do not collect, see, or store your card number, expiry date, or security code. Payments are processed by Stripe, which collects card details directly through its own secure fields. Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing what it does with data.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of a student or another person.
5. Course materials and student work
Notes you take, practice sets you complete, and answers you submit during a session are yours. We may keep informal records of the topics a student is working on so we can teach them better. We do not publish student work, scores, or names without written permission from the student and their parent or guardian.
If we ever want to use a testimonial or a score result publicly, we will ask for permission in writing first, and you are free to say no.
6. Recording
We do not record sessions by default. If a session is ever recorded, we will tell you before recording begins and get agreement from everyone present. Students and parents may decline. Recordings, if made, are used only for the student in that session and are deleted when no longer needed.
Students and parents may not record sessions without our advance permission.

- Stop contacting you
Email evanssatprep@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. For a student under 18, requests should come from the parent or guardian on the account.
California residents have additional rights under state privacy law, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request deletion. We honor these requests from anyone who asks, regardless of where they live. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
10. Cookies
Our site uses cookies to keep your cart working through checkout and to remember basic preferences. We may use analytics cookies to understand which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though checkout may not work properly if you block them entirely.
11. Links to other sites
Our site and our materials link to outside resources, including the College Board, Khan Academy, and Desmos. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
